Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
This policy explains how California Direct Care, Inc. (“CDC,” “we,” “us”) handles information on cadirectcareinc.com and in the apps and integrations we operate that link to this policy (together, our “apps”). The short version: we only collect what you choose to give us, we use it only to provide what you asked for, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you email us, join a waitlist, or sign up for our services, we receive what you provide, such as your name, email address, practice name, and message.
- Google account information. If you sign in to one of our apps with Google, we receive only the information shown on Google’s consent screen. For sign-in, that is your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Basic technical data. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. Our apps may use essential cookies or similar storage only to keep you signed in.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, operate and secure our apps, keep track of your place on a waitlist, and contact you about the services you asked about. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Google user data
When you connect a Google account to one of our apps, Google’s consent screen shows exactly what that app is asking for, and nothing is shared until you approve it. Each app asks only for what it needs. We:
- use your basic Google profile (name, email address, and profile picture) to sign you in and identify you;
- use any other Google data you approve, which may include Gmail messages, Google Drive files (including Docs and Sheets), and Google Calendar events, only to provide the feature that asked for it, such as sending an email, saving a document, or scheduling an appointment;
- keep any copies we need in our own Google Workspace and Google Cloud accounts, accessible only to CDC staff who need it;
- do not let people read the content of your Gmail, Drive, or Calendar data unless you ask us to (for example, to help fix a problem), it is needed for security, or the law requires it;
- do not share or transfer it to anyone except as needed to run the app, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (with notice to you);
- do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
CDC’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect our apps from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and apps (such as our web host and Google), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. Patient health information handled for a clinic under a separate written agreement, such as a business associate agreement, is governed by that agreement rather than this policy.
Security
Our website and apps use HTTPS, so information is encrypted in transit. Data stored in Google Workspace and Google Cloud is encrypted at rest by Google. We limit access to the people at CDC who need it to do their work.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us, or as required by law. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@cadirectcareinc.com. We will delete it within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it.
Do Not Track
We do not track visitors over time or across other websites, and we do not allow third parties to do so through our site. Because there is no tracking to turn off, we do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Children
Our website and apps are for healthcare professionals and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use Google user data, we will notify you and ask for your consent before using your data in the new way.
